Sigma Kappa

Letter from the Chapter

Letter from the Chapter

Dear Potential New Member,

Welcome to the University of Memphis! My name is Brianna Frost and I am the President of the Beta Xi chapter of Sigma Kappa here at Memphis. It is such an honor to serve as the chapter president for my second term this year. On behalf of my sisters, we welcome you to our page and we cannot wait to meet you!

Going Greek at the University of Memphis was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The main reason why I chose to go Greek was because I wanted to be a part of something that was bigger than myself. I wanted to expand my involvement and experience something completely different from anything that I have ever done. Going Greek is so much more than merely “paying for friends.”

Through the good times and the bad, Sigma Kappa has been and will always be there for me. This sisterhood is an unbreakable bond that has been around for many years. Sigma Kappa has a lifelong influence on its members, offering support, encouragement, and an atmosphere that promotes success and well-being. Because growth and friendship are important to women throughout their lives, the Sigma Kappa experience doesn't end with graduation.

The heart of a Sigma Kappa is one of pure joy, devotion, love, and commitment. This sisterhood and the opportunities I have found here are unlike any other. Not only will Sigma Kappa, or any other Greek organization, make your college experience the best it can possibly be, it will make YOU the best you can possibly be!

We have so much to look forward to this upcoming semester and in the future. We truly look forward to meeting each of you, and we wish you the best of luck in your experiences at Memphis! Go blue, go grey, GO GREEK!!
